Pencil in another rugby super star for next month’s Canada Sevens.

Bryan Habana has been in the mix for the South African sevens team before, but now he’s actually been selected.

Blitzbokke coach Neil Powell has confirmed the speedster will be involved for the next tournaments on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series. Yes that’s Las Vegas and Vancouver.

Habana will join a team that’s at the top of its game and is top of the overall table after four tournaments.

(Stars Kyle Brown, Branco du Preez, Cecil Africa and Justin Geduld are also likely to re-join the squad after missing time through injury. Yes, watch out.)

Currently signed with French super club Toulon, Habana will make his case for Olympic selection in the two North American stops on the sevens series.

He was part of the South African team which won the 2007 Rugby World Cup. He played two sevens events in 2004, months before making his international fifteens debut.

He also once raced a cheetah.
